We hope to open our eagerly anticipated (by us if no one else) second space in Kelham Island during Winter 2017. The space is a stunning old engineering workshop, complete with original brick walls and wooden floors. Don't worry, we won't be fitting it out with the tired "industrial chic" look that came and went over the last couple of years, but we will be staying true to the original features of the building and retaining as much character as possible.
The concept will revolve around much of the same principles as our original Glossop Road location: Distinct, ethically sourced, characterful coffee; cinnamon buns, baked fresh every day; and a small but perfectly formed seasonal food menu.
On top of this we are aiming to have a dedicated training centre and coffee lab, so we can increase the availability of our popular coffee courses, as well as making our QC and coffee selection processes more open to our customers.
We are also planning to license the venue, and open later into the evening. Whilst we have no intentions of competing with our new neighbours, The Shakespeare and The Bar Stewards, for sales of craft beer; we are excited about bringing you some inspired coffee cocktails and introducing the world of natural wine to the people of Sheffield.
As of yet we have no definitive opening date, but keep your eyes peeled on social media for announcements!
